A beautiful unique one of a kind writing instrument
Handmade Fountain pen from Amboyna Burl.
The wood has been stabalised and is fully lined with "Red Dragon" Diamond Cast resin, the same material has been used for the section and threads
This pen is one of a kind, completely hand turned, including the grip / nib section and triple start thread. The use of this material is possible only through the complex and time intensive stabilisation process of the wood which is all done by myself in my workshop
The pen is fitted with a pretty steel Medium Cypress Nib, I can also supply the nibs in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.
The pen can also take a Jowo nib, available in Polished steel.
These are available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.
The refilling system is a Schmidt K5 premium ink converter, but can also utilise a standard international cartridge.

Everything about this pen is well done. The threads are accurately cut and the cap goes on and off smoothly. The wood is beautiful and cleanly turned on the lathe, then sleeved over a diamondcast base. The nib is properly adjusted and writes as it should. Price was very fair for the quality and materials. Good follow up after shipment as well. A nice extra surprise in the box too. (not guaranteed for everyone I am sure)
